An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced, highly motivated and ambitious individuals with a good customer base and full working knowledge of the insulation distribution sector.

Our company, Tekfloor Limited, is a family-run distribution company based in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire. We are one of the largest independent distributors of floor screeding materials, renders and building insulation in the UK, with over half of our business in the insulation sector.


Purpose of the Job:

The Insulation Division is part of the Commercial Team.  External Sales Executives liaise directly with customers to create leads and inquiries.  The role of the Ground Worker External Sales Manager is to meet the sales and margin budget for sales of insulation and ancillary products to ground workers nationally.

To be considered for this sales role, YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS INSULATION SALES EXPERIENCE and be able to demonstrate a FULL WORKING KNOWLEDGE and SUCCESSFUL TRACK RECORD in insulation sales and account management. Candidates who are unable to meet these essential criteria need not apply.


Tasks and duties will include:

  • to service existing accounts
  • to source new sales opportunities
  • to source new suppliers
  • to positively represent and promote the company, its products and services.

Who are we looking for?

  • a full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
  • you will be commercially driven, have a keen understanding of sales targets and have a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • you will be customer focused and have experience in building and maintaining new customer relationships, ideally within the insulation/construction sector.
  • you will be a natural problem solver and have a good understanding of the products and project opportunities
  • you will be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
  • you will work well under pressure and be confident in dealing with people at all levels.
  • you will be enthusiastic, a self-starter and have a pro-active attitude to your role.
  • you will have a solid level of admin and MS Office experience.
  • knowledge of SAP is favourable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
